Getting started with Siftsy
This guide walks you through your first steps in Siftsy: choosing a team, finding your way around the home page, adding your first posts, and sharing your analysis. For the full UI tour, see How to navigate the home page.
Sign in and choose a team
When you sign in, you see every team you have access to. If you don't have an account yet, contact your team administrator or visit the Siftsy website to request access or schedule a demo.
Find your team in the list, or search for it by name
Click the team card to enter that team's workspace
The home page
After you enter a team, you land on the home page. It has two main tabs, Content and Activity.
Content holds your content in sub-tabs: Collections for grouped content, Accounts for content organized by social account, Posts for every post directly, and Tags for your content tags
Activity shows a timeline of what your team does in Siftsy, from uploads to automation runs
Add your first posts
You add content with the Add Content split button, which opens a four-step flow: Upload, Categorize, Automations, Confirm.
Click Add Content
In the Upload step, open the By Link tab and paste one or more post URLs. Siftsy supports Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook
In the Categorize step, choose the collection the posts belong in and add any content tags
Continue through the Automations step to Confirm, and confirm your upload
Only public posts can be added and analyzed, and every post you add counts toward your Monthly Analyzed Posts (MAPs) limit. See How to track MAPs usage.

The top bar
The top bar carries the actions you use throughout Siftsy:
Add Content: add posts to analyze
Automate: set up recurring syncs and account monitoring. See How to automate post syncs and monitor accounts
Sync status: open Processing status to check how your posts are processing
What's New: open the modal with recent product updates
Info & Support and the help widget: reach help resources
You switch teams from the header, not from a profile menu.
Analyze and share
Once your posts are in, select the ones you want and analyze their comments. Start with How to start analyzing comments.
