Language Support

Siftsy analyzes comment sections from posts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Shorts. Many of those posts include comments in multiple languages. Siftsy accepts mixed-language comment sections and distills them into unified insights.

How multilingual comments work

When you upload a post, Siftsy processes all visible comments regardless of language. The analysis pulls out themes, sentiment, and topics across the entire comment section—you don't need to filter by language or separate posts by language before uploading.

Insights are currently presented in English. If a comment section is primarily in another language, Siftsy still analyzes it and surfaces the key themes and sentiment patterns.

Supported languages

Siftsy currently supports analysis for the languages covered in the Siftsy Score Methodology.

The full supported-language list is available in the methodology document. If your target language isn't covered, analysis quality may vary based on how common the language is in the dataset.

Comment-level translations

You can translate individual comments directly in the analysis view. Open the comments panel, select a comment, and click the translate icon to choose a target language. The translated text appears alongside the original comment.

Supported translation languages include English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, and others. See How to translate comments for step-by-step instructions.

Target-language insights

Insights are currently presented in English. Target-language insight output is planned for a future release.
