How to export comments by sentiment

Filter the comments in an analysis by sentiment, then copy the filtered results as structured text. Use this to build client reports, share feedback with internal teams, or create sentiment summaries outside Siftsy.

Filter comments by sentiment

Siftsy scores sentiment on five levels: Positive, Lean positive, Neutral, Lean negative, and Negative. You can filter by Overall sentiment or by Content and Topic sentiment.

  1. Open the analysis that contains the comments you want to export

  2. Click Comment filters

  3. Choose whether to filter by Overall sentiment or by Content and Topic sentiment

  4. Select the sentiment level you want to export

  5. Apply the filter

A new analysis tab appears with only the comments matching that sentiment.

Export the filtered comments

  1. Scroll to the Comments section in the filtered tab

  2. Click Select All in the action bar above the comments

  3. In the action bar at the bottom, click Copy

The selected comments are copied in a structured text format with username, comment text, and like count. Paste it into a spreadsheet or document.

Image export limit

Bulk image export is limited to 20 comments at a time. If you want the filtered comments as images, select them in 20-comment increments.
